Behavior Support Solutions is hiring!

We are a small team of professional behavior analysts (those with a BCBA, BCaBA, or seeking a BCBA/BCaBA), credentialed special education teachers, and paraprofessionals who are Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) or are in the process of obtaining their RBT credential.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Behavior Support Solutions is looking to hire a BCBA for the Los Angeles County, Ventura County, San Diego, Fort Irwin, 29 Palms, Sacramento, Fairfeld CA and Orange County areas. Hours are currently part-time, but can be full time in the near future.

Job Duties:

  1. - Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and developmental assessments.
  2. - Write program goals and monitor progress of each child, adapting goals as needed.
  3. - Provide case supervision and assist behavior therapists.
  4. - Provide parent training services.
  5. - Write progress reports.

Job Requirements:

  1. - MUST be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with the BACB. (Due to the requirements stipulated by the insurance companies, only applications provided by someone already certified by the BACB as a BCBA will be accepted. No exceptions.)
  2. - Fluent in Spanish or other languages preferred, but not required.
  3. - At least 6 months experience providing case supervision and conducting FBA's.
  4. - Reliable transportation and clear criminal background.

Flexible hours are available. Pay is $55-75/hour, DOE.

Behavior Therapist

Part-time positions are available for energetic, creative, and detail-oriented individuals to provide in-home behavior intervention services to children with autism and their families using the principles and practices of ABA. On-site supervision and support is provided by our team of BCBA's/BCaBA's. We are looking for individuals who live in or near the Los Angeles County, Ventura County, San Diego, Fort Irwin, 29 Palms, Sacramento, Fairfeld CA and Orange County areas.

Job Duties:

  1. - Provide one-to-one ABA interventions.
  2. - Consistently implement behavior intervention plans.
  3. - Report child's progress and make recommendations to your clinical supervisor.
  4. - Maintain accurate records of child's performance via online data collection system.
  5. - Maintain accurate records of your billable time via online scheduling system.
  6. - Training on online systems will be provided.


  1. - Minimum of 12 college credits required, preferably someone with a bachelor's degree in applied behavior analysis, education, psychology, or a related field.
  2. - At least one year of experience in implementing behavior modification services preferred, but we will provide all training required to be successful.
  3. - All therapists must be BCaBA’s or RBT’s. RBT Training is available.
  4. - Valid California driver's license and car insurance and the ability to drive to the homes of the families you will serve.
  5. - Be able to pass a criminal background check.
  6. - Be able to obtain and maintain professional liability insurance.
  7. - Must have availability in the afternoon and evening. Some daytime hours may be available.
  8. - Must have regular and secure access to online technology, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or tablet. 
  9. - Spanish speaking a plus!

Pay is $20-30/hour for RBT's, $30-45/hour for BCaBA's.
